Nick & Jake started Pumpkin Wholesale in the year 2000. Pretty much from the start the focus has been on the literary & academic end of the spectrum, though not exclusively. Initially the company operated solely on the wholesale of remainders, returns and overstocks. Over the years we have added retail locations and an internet sales operation to sit alongside wholesale. We remain committed to all three business areas today. In the last year or so, Pumpkin also embarked on reprinting some classic books under the imprint Pumpkin Press. In 2023, long term warehouse manager Ian joined Jake & Nick as a director of the business. With our partners and colleagues in distribution and fulfilment, Pumpkin now distributes books all over the world, from single books to multiple pallets.
