Illustrators 32

We bring you the fascinating artwork of Oliver Frey, the Swiss artist who was one of the mainstays in British comics and brought video game illustration to the fore! We re-visit the days of the pulps and their most popular hero, The Shadow, as rendered by the Rozen twins, George and Jerome. Afterwards we journey to South America and enjoy the work of the Argentinian master of black and white, Alberto Breccia, head north to Colombia to see Marcela Bolivar's stunning photo-illustrations, and remember, in memoriam, Juan Giménez. More like a book than a magazine, illustrators is the art quarterly devoted to the finest illustration art ever published. With its unique blend of art and insight, it guides you through the stories behind the artists and their art, with features written by some of the leading authorities on this important art form.
